StarPhone™ for Android: A Full-Featured Softphone with Advanced Presence and Voicemail Tools
Star2Star Communications has recently released StarPhone™, their new Android application that combines a full-featured softphone with advanced presence and voicemail tools. This application is exclusively for current Star2Star customers and comes with a variety of features that allow seamless interaction between mobile and in-office employees.
With StarPhone™, users can transfer calls, join conferences, be part of a ring group, and much more. The app displays the user's Star2Star telephone number as their Caller ID when making a call through the app, protecting their personal cell number. Calls placed and received using StarPhone™ travel over data networks when the phone is connected to wireless and are not billed as phone plan minutes. The app also allows users to access visual voicemail and dial non-Star2Star contacts on their device.
